Project Overview
For several years, I have worked on ongoing engagements with Cricket Wireless. I have been involved in the testing and design of e-commerce, activation, account management, and other critical web flows. Most recently, I have tested the unboxing and setup experience of Cricket phones purchased by first-time buyers at big-box retail outlets.
To conduct this user research, a facilitator and I observed and interviewed new customers setting up their Cricket phones, and identified key pain points with the setup experience.
This research helped deliver:
▸recommendations for the packaging design
▸recommendations for the graphic and instructional design of package contents
▸design recommendations for Cricket's website and mobile application

My Role
After helping develop the user testing plan and discussion guide, I captured and analyzed notes from user interviews conducted on both mobile and desktop interfaces. I wrote design recommendations based upon this analysis, and presented these recommendations to key stakeholders throughout the company.
Research methods leveraged throughout these projects included:
▸iterative testing of prototypes
▸structured interviews
▸cognitive walkthroughs
▸user observation
